When you see stain is light then you can use some mild detergent and you can bloat the remaining stain using that detergent. Now you can spray clean water on the soap and you can wash soap using that clean water.
Once you are done with the rinsing of soap, you can take a clean, fresh and dry cloth and you can bloat the area for removal of the remaining stain. Also, you can blow dry it and you can brush it to get a proper look in your carpet.
